SSC CGL Application Form 2020

SSC CGL online form was available from October 2020 Tentatively. Candidates go through the all required documents on before applying for SSC CGL 2020. Firstly open the official website and search “application form” tab. Read the instructions carefully then complete the process of registration by providing the details such as your name, mobile number and email id. Now logon to the computer with your registration number and password then fill the details of education related to class X, XII and graduation (whichever is applicable). Once all the educational qualification has been successfully filled, then upload the scanned copy of your photograph and signature with required size. Make the application fee which is different for various category's. Application fee has to be paid according to the category details. Payment can be done by BHIM UPI/Netbanking/credit/ debit card or e-challan then submit the application. Finally take printout the submitted application form for future reference.

Essential Educational Qualifications:

A) Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer
  • Essential Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute
  • Desirable Qualifications: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/
    Masters in Business Studies
B) Junior Statistical Officer
  • Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level 
  • (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
C) Compiler Posts

SSC CGL 2020 Paper Pattern

The examination will be divided into two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper II. objective type (MCQs) of questions will asked in Paper I in which 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. and question paper will be set up in both the languages English & Hindi. Paper II is a descriptive type test, in which a short essay must be written in English or in any other language included in Schedule 8 of the Constitution, which usually determines the candidate's basic language skills.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2020

For Tier I:-
The major sections asked in Tier I exam are General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
For Tier II:-
This Exam will be conducted online and is an objective type multiple choice exam. The major sections asked in Tier II Exam are Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics, General Studies (Finance and Economics).
For Tier III:-
Tier III exam will be conducted to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi. It will be conducted in offline mode and students are required to write essays, précis, application, letter etc. in this exam.
For Tier IV:-
Data Entry Speed Test : Candidates should type in 2000 words in English in 15 minutes on the computer. This test is conducted to check the candidate's writing skills.
Computer Proficiency Test : This test is conducted to check the candidate's proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and slides production.
